upgrading windows media center edition

Hi:
What are the ramifications in upgrading to Vista from Media Center 2005 Edition? I know that the basic MCE platform is Windows Pro, but there are some differences applicable certain items.
If anyone has upgraded from (Sony) MCE 2005 to Vista I would be most appreciative to know the consequences.

More like advantages depending on the SKU you choose to install. You might encounter possible incompatibility though with existing hardware such as your TV Tuner, Extenders or Remote, make sure those are compatible before you upgrade.
